Play Den Nursery

We are at number 8 SVP Road in Mazgaon. Play Den Nursery is where we spend most of our waking hours. It is an old part of the city, and the building has that specific Mazgaon feel to it. The walls have seen a lot of things over the years. Running a nursery here means there is never a quiet moment, which I guess is the point. We start early, usually before the sun is fully up, to get the rooms ready for the day. The street outside can be quite noisy with all the trucks and cars going down SVP Road, but inside, we try to keep things grounded as much as we can. It is not some fancy, high-tech facility. It is just a place with plenty of space for kids to be kids. We have got some toys that have been through a lot and floors that get scuffed up pretty fast. We are constantly cleaning and moving furniture around to make things work better. The layout is a bit old-fashioned, but it works for us. Most of the people who come here are from the neighborhood, so we see a lot of familiar faces every day. It is hard work, and by the end of the afternoon, we are usually pretty tired. There is a lot of tidying up to do before we can lock up and head home for the night. It is just a small, local nursery trying to do right by the families in Mazgaon.
