Baby Steps

Baby Steps is located in Sugra Manzil, on the first floor in office number one. We are right in the middle of the madness that is Chakala Street in Masjid Bunder. If you have ever been here, you know how crowded it is with people, handcarts, and deliveries. Getting to our building can be a bit of a struggle sometimes, but once you are up on the first floor, it’s a little quieter. The office is small and filled with samples and boxes. We have been in this spot for quite a while now and we know the area like the back of our hand. It is not a shiny, modern office space. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint and the desks are cluttered with invoices and tea cups. We handle everything from here, from talking to suppliers to packing small orders. There is no corporate hierarchy here; we all just pitch in and do what needs to be done. We know the local tea seller and the guys who help move the heavy boxes downstairs. The street outside is always noisy, and you can hear the whistles of the trains nearby. It’s a busy, cramped, and lively place to work. We don't spend any time on fancy brochures. People who know us know where to find us in Sugra Manzil. It’s just how we operate. We are here every day making sure things get done.
