Kids Den

You can find us at No. 81 in the Malad Shopping Centre on S. V. Road. Being in Malad West means there is always a lot of noise and energy around us. We run Kids Den, which is basically a place for children's stuff. It’s a small shop, and it gets pretty crowded on the weekends when parents have some free time. We try to keep things tidy, but with kids running around, it doesn’t stay that way for long. We’ve got toys and clothes and things like that tucked into every corner of the unit. It’s a bit of a squeeze, but we like the location. S. V. Road is always busy, so we see a lot of people walking by. We’ve been here for a while and we know many of the regulars who come in. We don't have a big corporate strategy. We just pick out items we think parents will like and put them on the shelves. Sometimes the lights flicker a bit, or the air conditioning struggles when it’s really hot out, but we make it work. It's a friendly place. We aren't trying to be the biggest store in Mumbai, just a reliable shop for the neighborhood. It’s a lot of work keeping everything stocked, but it’s worth it to see the shop stay busy and the customers coming back.
