Our office for Spl is in Chembur, Mumbai. We are located at 3/12, Anand Niketan, which is part of the Himachal CHS. The building is right on G.M Road. Chembur is a very busy area with a lot of people moving around all the time. G.M Road is usually packed with traffic, so we hear the honking of cars all day long. It’s just part of the Mumbai experience, really. Our space in Anand Niketan is small but it has everything we need to get through our workload. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy office. It’s just a practical spot where we sit and handle our business. There are stacks of paper on the desks and a few old cupboards for storage. We don't have a big staff, so it’s usually just a couple of us here. We keep it simple. We drink a lot of chai and talk about the news while we work. It’s not a polished corporate environment. We just do the tasks that are required of us and try to be helpful when people call. Being in a CHS means we have neighbors who are living their lives right next to our office. It makes the place feel more like a community than just a business district. We’ve been here at G.M Road for some time now and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the neighborhood.
