Speedex Cargo & Logistics

We are based at 30 Grand Road East, in Guru Niwas on Vp Road. The name is Speedex Cargo & Logistics, but mostly we are just the guys moving your boxes. Grand Road is a hectic place to work. There’s always something being loaded or unloaded on the street. Our office in Guru Niwas is where the planning happens. We have shelves full of ledgers and a couple of computers that have seen better days. It’s a lot of coordination between the warehouse and the trucks. Sometimes things get backed up, especially when the weather is bad or the traffic is worse than usual. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. We just focus on the manifest and making sure the address is right. Moving cargo is a lot of heavy lifting and careful packing. We see a lot of different things pass through our hands, from small parcels to big crates. The neighborhood is loud and busy, but that’s just how it is here. We have a small crew and we all pitch in with everything. Whether it’s answering the phone or helping tie down a tarp, everyone helps out. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. We’ve been at this location for some time and the local shopkeepers know us well. We just keep the wheels moving as best as we can every single day.
