Special Metal Industries

Special Metal Industries is tucked away at 4A, 52/54 on C P Tank Road. This area is always crowded and full of life. It is an old part of town and our building has been here for a long time. Working with metal is what we do here every day. The space is a bit tight because C P Tank Road is like that. We have to be careful with how we move materials in and out. It is a lot of heavy lifting and careful measuring. We don't have a polished office with air conditioning in every room. It is more of a traditional workshop feel. You can hear the sounds of the street outside and the sounds of our tools inside. We have a small group of workers who know their craft. We don't spend money on advertising or fancy signs. Most of our work comes from people who know where we are. Dealing with different types of metal keeps us busy. Sometimes it is steel and other times it is something else. We just take the orders as they come. Being on C P Tank Road means we are right in the heart of things. It is a gritty, hardworking environment. We aren't trying to be something we are not. We just do metal work at 4A, 52/54 and that is about it. The shop gets hot in the summer but we are used to it by now. C P Tank Road can be a headache for some because of the narrow lanes. But we have a rhythm here that works for everyone.
