Our units are F7 and F8 over in the Ansa Industrial Estate. We are right on Saki Vihar Road in the Sakinaka area of Andheri East. If you’ve ever been to Sakinaka, you know how the traffic is. It’s always a bit of a struggle to get in and out, so we usually just stay put in the factory all day. We make dies and moulds here. It’s the kind of work that requires a lot of patience and looking at small details. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings and there is a constant hum from the machines. We have a small group of workers who have been with us for a long time. We don't have any big corporate offices or polished meeting rooms. We usually just talk over the sound of the equipment or step outside for a bit of air. The estate is quite old, and we’ve seen a lot of businesses come and go, but we’ve managed to stay in these units for a good number of years. We don't use any fancy language to describe what we do. We just take the drawings and try to make the parts as close to the specifications as possible. It’s a lot of manual adjustment and checking things twice. By the end of the day, we are usually pretty tired, but it feels good to see the finished moulds ready to go. We just keep at it.
