Sonal Hardware Stores

Sonal Hardware Stores has been a part of the Nagdevi Area for a long time. We’re in Shop Number 7 at Plot 41/47 on Bibijan Street, right on the ground floor. If you've ever been to Masjid West, you know how crowded and busy these streets are. Our shop is packed from floor to ceiling with all sorts of hardware bits and pieces. It’s not the most organized place in the world, but we usually know exactly where everything is buried. Whether it’s a specific bolt or a heavy-duty tool, it’s likely in one of the drawers or stacked in the back. We spend our days dealing with customers who come in looking for one specific item to fix a bigger problem. Sometimes it’s quiet, and other times three people are asking for different things at once. We don't have a fancy display or shiny lights. It’s just a hardware store where we talk to people across the counter and pull things off the shelves. The air in Nagdevi is always full of the smell of metal and old cardboard boxes. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of the faces on Bibijan Street. It’s a tough, busy place to work, but it’s what we know how to do. We just keep the inventory stocked and wait for the next person to walk through the door. It gets cramped when we get new stock in, but we manage.
