Our setup for Solar Marketing is over in Sion, specifically at M-3/C-405. It’s more of an office space than a storefront, so it’s usually pretty quiet except for the phones ringing. Sion is a busy part of town, but once you get inside the building, it calms down a lot. We’ve been in this particular block for a few years now. The office isn’t huge, but it fits our desks and the filing cabinets we need for all the paperwork. We have a small window that looks out over the neighborhood, though the view is mostly other rooftops and some power lines. It’s a decent place to work. We spend a lot of our time talking to people on the phone or responding to messages. Sometimes the lift in the building acts up, and we have to take the stairs, which is okay but not ideal when it’s humid outside. We have a small kettle in the corner for making coffee when we need a break. It’s not a polished corporate environment by any means. There are stacks of papers that need filing and the chairs are a little bit squeaky. We just try to stay on top of things as they come in. Most of our day is just regular office work, keeping track of orders and making sure everything is moving along like it should. It’s a simple operation, really. We usually shut everything down around six and head out before the traffic gets bad.
