Soham Steel Centre

I spend most of my days here at Soham Steel Centre. We are located at 11.9833333333333 Girgaon. It is a busy spot. Most of the time it's just about getting the steel orders ready for people who stop by. My hands are usually dirty from the metal. Girgaon has changed a lot over the years, but we are still here doing the same thing. People come in asking for different types of steel. Some know exactly what they want, others just show me a drawing or an old piece they need to replace. I don't really have a big office or anything. It's mostly just stacks of material and the sound of things moving around. Sometimes the traffic outside is loud, but you get used to it. I’ve lived around here for a while and the shop is just part of the neighborhood now. We don't do much fancy stuff. Just cutting, weighing, and loading things up. It gets hot in the afternoons, especially with all the metal reflecting the light. I usually keep a bottle of water near the desk. It’s not a complicated life. Just managing the inventory and making sure the address at Girgaon is easy to find for the delivery trucks. I guess that's about it really. We just keep the doors open and wait for the next person to walk in with a requirement. There is always a lot of clanging and banging, but that is normal for us.
