Small Brown Box

Small Brown Box is right here in Andheri East, specifically at 4 Manek Chowk. We’ve been around for a while now. Most people come to us when they are moving houses or need to ship something. It's just a lot of cardboard and tape really. The shop gets a bit dusty because of all the boxes stacked up to the ceiling. We spend most of our mornings just unloading trucks and sorting sizes. Sometimes it’s hard to find a specific size if it’s buried under a pile, but we usually get there. The space isn't huge, so things get cramped. People stop by for one or two boxes, or sometimes a whole van load. We don’t do fancy decorations or anything. It’s just a place to get packing supplies. If you walk past the chowk, you’ll see the stacks. It’s mostly us and the neighbor’s tea stall. We keep the doors open even when it’s hot because the boxes take up all the air. It’s a simple setup. We know the regulars who do a lot of courier work around here. They know where we keep the bubble wrap. We just try to keep enough stock so nobody leaves empty-handed. It isn't a glamorous business, but everyone needs a box at some point. We’ve got the brown ones, the white ones, and some heavy-duty stuff for bigger things. That’s pretty much the whole story of what happens here daily.
