Jade Rodrigues

Bandra West is where we are, specifically at Pali Naka. It’s a famous spot, so most people don't get lost. Our place is B-304 in Fatima Villa. It’s an old building, the kind you find around here with a lot of character. We are right opposite the HDFC Bank. It’s a landmark everyone uses. The street is always moving. There are cafes and shops everywhere. Jade Rodrigues is the name on the door. Living and working in Bandra has its own rhythm. The mornings are slightly slower, and then everything picks up by noon. We hear the honking and the people chatting downstairs. It’s part of the charm, I guess. The building is tucked away just enough. You walk into the gate and the noise drops a little. Being on the third floor gives us a bit of a view of the trees. We don't go for anything fancy. The office is just a place with desks and some chairs. We drink a lot of coffee from the place around the corner. Sometimes the lift acts up, so we take the stairs. It’s just a normal life in a busy part of Mumbai. People ask us why we stay in such a crowded area, but it’s where everything happens. We are right in the middle of it all at Fatima Villa.
