Prashanti Collection

Prashanti Collection is tucked away in the Preet Nagar Housing Society here in Mumbai. We are at 42/44-3. It’s not a big shop on a main high street, but more of a local spot that people in the neighborhood know about. We have clothes and various bits and pieces piled up on the shelves inside. It can look a bit messy when we get new stock in, but we find our way through it eventually. The housing society is usually quiet during the day, which is nice for us. Most of our visitors are people who live nearby or have heard about us from a friend. We don't really do much advertising or anything like that. We just open the doors and see who comes in. Sometimes it’s busy, sometimes it’s just us sitting here waiting for someone to stop by. We’ve been in this space for a while now, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint. But it serves its purpose for now. We keep a variety of things depending on the season and what people are asking for. It's just a small family-run kind of thing. You won't find any shiny displays or mannequins in the window here. It's just piles of fabric and clothes that we've picked out ourselves. We try to be helpful when someone is looking for something specific. It’s a simple way to earn a living. The neighbors are friendly too and we like the location.
