Sitaram Trimmings

You can find us in Worli West, specifically in Markeshwar Nagar on Dr Ab Road. We are on the ground floor, right opposite Atria Mall. It’s a funny contrast because the mall is all shiny and new, while our place is more of a traditional workshop. We handle trimmings, which means we deal with a lot of buttons, laces, and small details for clothes. If you walked in, you’d see boxes stacked up to the ceiling and bits of thread on the floor. It’s a bit of a maze inside, but we know exactly where everything is. We have been here for a long time, and some of our staff have been with us since the start. It’s a bit dusty and the light isn't always the best, but it’s where we do our best work. People from the garment trade come by all the time to pick out what they need. We don't have a fancy showroom. We just pull things out of the boxes and show them on the main table. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until late evening. The traffic on Dr Ab Road is always a nightmare, but we are used to the sound of it. We like being in Worli, even if things are changing fast around us. We just keep the shop open and make sure we have what our regulars are looking for every day. It's a simple, busy life.
