Natural Import & Export

We are tucked away in the New Sion Co-Operative Society in Sion West. It’s at No. 11a/2. It’s a bit of a residential feel around here, which is nice compared to the heavy industrial areas. Natural Import & Export is basically just a few of us in a room with a couple of computers and a lot of coffee. We handle some shipping and receiving, mostly stuff that people need brought in from outside or sent off to other states. The neighbors are mostly families, so we try not to make too much noise when trucks come by. It’s a tight squeeze in the society lanes sometimes. You have to know exactly where you’re going or you’ll end up turning around in someone’s driveway. The building is older, has that specific smell of dust and old paper. We don't have a receptionist or anything fancy. If the bell rings, whoever is closest to the door opens it. We spend a lot of time checking emails and making sure the customs forms are right because one mistake messes everything up for weeks. It’s a lot of detail work that isn't very exciting to talk about. Sometimes we walk over to the local market for lunch. It’s a decent place to work. We’ve been in this society for a long time now, and most people know us as the guys who are always moving boxes. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
