Simplex Bearing Company

We are Simplex Bearing Company and we have been at Shop No 25 on Bibijan Street for quite a long time now. If you know the Masjid Bunder West area at all, you know how busy it gets around Mohamad Ali Road with all the carts and people moving about. Our shop is right in the middle of that rush. Inside, it is mostly just shelves filled with boxes of bearings of all sizes. It stays pretty dusty because of the street traffic outside, but we know where everything is kept even if it looks a bit cluttered to someone else. People usually come to us when they are looking for a specific part for a machine or a vehicle that they cannot find elsewhere in the market. We spend most of our day just checking through lists and pulling items off the high shelves. There is a tea stall just a few steps away where we usually get our afternoon cutting chai while we wait for the next person to walk in. It is not a very big space, but it serves the purpose. We do not do much fancy talk here, we just listen to what someone needs and try to see if it is sitting in the back or on the top rack. Most of our regulars have been coming to this same spot for years because they know exactly where we are located near the main road.
