Shweta Travels

We run Shweta Travels out of our place in Powai Amboli. It’s a small operation, mostly just us handling the bookings and making sure the cars are ready to go. Living and working in Powai means we see a lot of people heading to the airport or going on weekend trips out of the city. We don't have a big fancy storefront with bright lights. Most people just call us up or stop by the apartment building here at 11/503. We spend a lot of time checking the schedules and making sure the drivers are awake and on time for their pickups. It can be a bit hectic in the early mornings when three or four trips are starting at the same time. We try to keep the cars clean and the engines running smooth, which takes up a good chunk of the day. It’s just honest work, helping people get where they need to go without a lot of fuss. Sometimes we have to deal with last-minute cancellations or people changing their minds about where they want to go, but you get used to it in this business. We aren't a big corporate agency, just a local family business trying to make a living. We know the roads around Mumbai quite well, and we do our best to find the quickest ways through the traffic. It’s a simple life of driving and planning, and we keep things as practical as possible for everyone.
