Shuja Metal Centre

Shuja Metal Centre is right here at number 57 on Nakhuda Street. It's a busy little area, and we've been part of it for quite a while. We mainly deal with different types of metal pieces and hardware. The shop isn't very large, so we have to be smart about how we stack things up. It can get a bit crowded when we have a lot of inventory coming in. We spend most of our time helping people who walk in looking for specific sizes or types of metal. Sometimes they bring in old parts to match, and we have to dig through the back to find what they need. It's a lot of manual work, moving heavy crates and organizing the shelves. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just know us from being on this street for so long. The neighborhood has its own rhythm, and we are just a small part of it. Usually, we start early in the morning before the street gets too congested. There are days when the rain comes down so hard on Nakhuda Street that we have to move everything back from the entrance. It’s an old street with a lot of character. We don't have any big mission statements. Our goal is just to finish the work we have in front of us. Most of the time, that means helping a customer find a specific piece of brass or copper tubing. We don't mind if someone only wants a small piece. It keeps the neighborhood folks coming back.
