Shubhlaxmi Metals & Tubes Pvt.Ltd.

We are located at 3/A, R.K. Wadi, right on 1st Parsiwada Lane. Shubhlaxmi Metals & Tubes Pvt.Ltd. has been based here for a good number of years. The lane is quite narrow, so getting large shipments in and out can be a real headache sometimes. We deal with all sorts of metal pipes and tubing. The warehouse area is packed to the ceiling with different sizes and grades of metal. It is a bit dark inside, and we have to use flashlights sometimes to read the markings on the tubes. The floor is concrete and always feels cold. We have a small office section where we handle the invoices and talk to customers on the phone. The phone rings a lot during the day. It is a busy place, and there is not much room to move around once the morning delivery arrives. We do not wear suits or anything like that. It is mostly jeans and shirts that can get a bit of grease on them. We have a small kettle for making tea, which we do several times a day. Dealing with metal is heavy work, so we are usually pretty tired by the time we close up. The neighborhood is full of other small businesses, so there is a lot of shouting and horns honking outside. It is just the way things are in this part of town. We just supply the metal that people need and keep our records as best we can.
