Shubham Metals

Our shop, Shubham Metals, is located at Charni Road 24/4 194. This part of the city is always moving, and we are right in the middle of it. We handle a variety of metal products. The space is quite old and has that specific smell of aged metal and dust. It’s not a place where you’d want to wear a nice suit. We have stacks of different items piled up, and sometimes it takes a bit of climbing to get to the one at the bottom. We’ve known our neighbors for years, and we often chat while waiting for customers. The traffic outside is constant, so there’s always a background noise of horns and engines. We don't really have a big staff. It's just a few of us who know where everything is kept. When a customer comes in, we usually offer them a seat on a stool while we look for what they need. We do our own loading most of the time. It’s physical work and your back starts to feel it after a few hours. We don't use much technology here, just the basics to keep track of what we buy and sell. It's a traditional way of doing business. We show up, open the doors, and see who comes by. It’s worked for us so far, and we don't see any reason to change it. Sometimes we eat lunch right at the counter if we are too busy.
