Shriram Metal

We've been here at C.P. Tank for a while now. Metal is just what we do every day. People come by the shop at Gulalwadi for all sorts of bits and pieces. It's usually busy around here, with trucks and handcarts moving things around. We keep a lot of stuff in stock. It’s not a fancy office or anything like that. Just a workspace where we manage orders and talk to regular customers who have been coming to us for years. Most days involve checking the stock and making sure things are ready for pickup. We don't really do much advertising. People just know where we are. Dealing with metal can be messy work, but it’s what we know best. We try to keep things organized, though sometimes the piles of inventory get a bit high. If you walk down the street, you’ll see us right there at number 28. We handle various types of metals depending on what people are looking for at the moment. It is mostly local trade. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook, and other times it’s just quiet paperwork. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. Even with all the new buildings, we are still right here doing the same thing. It is steady work. We just focus on getting the day's tasks done and helping whoever walks through the door. Nothing too complicated about it. It keeps us moving and provides for our families without needing any big corporate fluff.
