Shri Sai Watch Co

We have been running this small stall near Mahim West station for quite some time. It is located right on Ghoga Street, which stays pretty crowded most of the day. Being in a BMC stall means we don't have a lot of room, but there is enough space for the work we do. Most people find us because they are walking to or from the railway station. It’s a convenient spot for someone who needs a quick fix for their watch while they are commuting. We handle all the basic stuff like changing batteries, fixing broken pins, or adjusting metal straps that are too loose. The shop is simple and we try to keep things organized despite the small area. You can hear the trains passing by all the time, which is just part of the atmosphere here. We see many of the same faces every week. It’s mostly just sitting at the bench with a magnifying glass and small screwdrivers. Sometimes a watch is really old and takes more time, other times it is a five-minute job. We don't do much advertising; people just know we are here across from the station. The fan stays on all day to keep the heat away. It's honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until late evening. We don't have any big corporate plans, just staying here and making sure the clocks keep ticking for the local folks who depend on us. It’s been this way for a while now and we don't see that changing.
