Shri Sai Raj Travels

Our office is in Saraswati Niwas on Elphistan Road West. It’s a small space, number 38. Mostly it’s just me and the phones. We handle travel bookings and things like that for people in the area. The building is one of those typical old ones you see around here. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy with the traffic outside, but you get used to it. People come in to ask about train tickets or bus routes. We try to help them out as best as we can. It’s a lot of checking schedules and making calls. I’ve been doing this for a while now, so I know the regulars. They stop by for a chat even if they aren't going anywhere. The walls have some old posters on them. It’s not a fancy travel lounge, just a place to get your tickets sorted. Sometimes the computer is slow, which makes things take longer than they should. My wife brings me lunch every day around 1 PM. It’s a quiet life mostly, except when the holiday seasons start. Then everyone wants to go somewhere at the same time. We just try to keep everything straight so nobody misses their ride. It's a decent way to spend the day, helping people get where they need to go. I hope to keep the shop running for many more years. It's a good spot and the landlord is a decent person, which is hard to find. We just do our best here.
