Shreeram & Co

Our shop is number 4 in Waman Apartment, right near Maitri Park in Chembur. It’s a good little spot in a residential building. Shreeram & Co has been around for a long time. We aren’t a big company with many branches, just this one place. The shop is small and packed with all sorts of items from floor to ceiling. Sometimes it’s hard to find things if you don’t know where to look. We usually know exactly which shelf has what. We don’t have fancy display cases or bright lights. It’s just a regular local shop where we sit and wait for customers. We have a lot of regulars from the apartments nearby. They stop by on their way home to pick up things they need. We talk about the weather or the local news while we weigh out their items. It’s a slow pace compared to the big malls but we prefer it. We keep our books by hand mostly. There’s a ceiling fan that stays on all day to keep the heat away. The sidewalk outside can get a bit crowded with parked scooters. We don’t do any advertising. People just know we are here because we’ve been here for years. It’s a family-run kind of thing. We just focus on giving people what they ask for without any extra fuss. It’s a quiet, steady life here in Chembur and we are happy with it.
