Our shop is Shop No 2 in Sion. It’s right near the Fish Market, so if you’re coming to see us, you’ll definitely know when you’re close by the smell. The smell of the market is something you just live with every day, and after a while, you don't even notice it anymore. It’s a small shop, not much bigger than a few cupboards put together. We have a desk, a couple of plastic chairs for anyone who drops by, and a lot of files stacked up. Shree Sairam Balaji Real Estate Consultant is what the board says outside, though the paint is starting to fade a bit from the hot afternoon sun. Sion is a hectic place with the highway so close to us. We see all kinds of people walking past our door all day long. Some stop to ask for directions, and some are just heading to the market for their groceries. We don't have a computer that works very fast, so we still write a lot of things down in big ledgers. It’s a bit old-fashioned, but it’s how we’ve always done it here. There’s a tea stall just two shops down that makes the best ginger tea, which really helps on the slow, humid afternoons. We just sit here, keep an eye on the street, and wait for the next person to walk through the door with a question. It is a simple life and it keeps us busy.
