Our little travel office is located in the BDD Building, specifically at 87/15 in Worli West. We are right near the Market Square on the 9th Cross in the 2nd Block. It’s a very local spot, and we get a lot of people walking in just to ask about bus timings or train tickets while they are out doing their grocery shopping. The BDD buildings have a lot of history, and working here feels very connected to the neighborhood. We started Shree Sai Ganesh Tours & Travels because we wanted to help people get where they need to go without too much trouble. It is just a small room with a couple of desks and a lot of printed brochures scattered around. We spend a lot of time on the phone with drivers and hotels, trying to make sure everything is lined up. Sometimes the internet is slow or the phone line crackles, but we manage to get the bookings done. It’s not a shiny corporate travel agency. We have a couple of plastic chairs for customers to sit on while we check the schedules. Usually, there’s some tea being shared and a bit of gossip about the local traffic. We know the roads well and we try to give honest advice on how long a trip will actually take. It’s a simple, straightforward operation where we just try to be helpful to the people who live around here.
