Our base is at 302 in Vile Parle East, which is really close to the domestic airport. That location makes it easy for us to coordinate trips between Mumbai and Pune. We mostly deal with people who need a reliable ride for that specific highway route. The cabs are kept as clean as possible, though the Mumbai dust makes it a constant battle. We have a small group of drivers who know the expressway well. They’ve done the drive hundreds of times. It’s not a complicated business. Someone calls, we check who is available, and we send a car. Being near the airport means we are used to the noise of the planes overhead all day long. Sometimes we have to deal with car repairs or flat tires, which can be a pain, but we manage. We don't have a big marketing department or anything. Most of our work comes from people who just want a comfortable trip to Pune without having to drive themselves. We try to keep our schedules on track, but traffic in the city can be unpredictable. We just do our best to get people where they need to go. The office is just a place for us to handle the phones and take a break between shifts. We usually have some snacks and coffee ready for the drivers when they get back from a long haul. It's a busy life but we've gotten used to the pace over the years.
