We are over in Mulund West, right at Shop 8 in Indira Nagar 1. It’s on the 24th Main, just across from Pooja Hospital. If you walk past, you’ll probably hear the sound of metal hitting metal or the buzzing of the welding machine. We make all sorts of things out of steel, like window grills, gates, and small frames. The floor is usually covered in metal scraps and dust. It’s a small shop, so we do a lot of the work right out on the front. It gets very hot in the afternoons, especially in the summer. We have a couple of guys who are really good with the torch. Sometimes people bring in a broken chair or a gate that won't close, and we fix it up for them. We don’t have a big catalog of designs, we just talk to people and see what they need for their homes. I’ve been in Indira Nagar for years, and most people around here know us. We don't do much advertising, word gets around by itself. The hospital across the road is a good landmark for people finding us for the first time. We work until the sun goes down and then clean up for the next day. It’s messy work but it’s honest. We just try to make things that last a long time. The metal sheets can be heavy so we help each other lift them.
