Shree Rajendra Metal

If you walk down towards Alankar Theatre in Girgaon, you will find us at Shop 10/C on the ground floor. It is one of those old buildings at 65 Girgaon where everyone knows each other. We deal in metal stuff and the shop is usually full of different pieces and scraps. It is not the biggest place in the world, but it works for what we do. The area is always humming with people going to the movies or just walking through the lanes. We open up early and stay until the street starts to quiet down a bit. Most of the time, I am just sitting behind the counter or checking on the metal stocks in the back. There is a lot of dust that comes in from the main road, so we are always wiping things down, though it never stays clean for long. We do not really do much advertising. People just see the sign for Shree Rajendra Metal and come in to ask for what they need. It is a simple life here. We have a small stool for visitors and a fan that makes a bit of noise, but it keeps the air moving. Sometimes the traffic near the theater gets backed up and we just watch the cars go by while we wait for the next person to walk in. It is just a local business running out of a ground floor shop in a busy part of town.
