Shree Om Rolling Mills Pvt. Ltd. is located out on the Additional Midc Aurangabad Road. If you’ve ever been to this part of Aurangabad, you know it’s a very industrial area. There are factories all around us. Our rolling mill is a big, noisy place with a lot of heavy machinery running throughout the day. We deal with metal and heat, so it’s not exactly a clean or quiet environment. The floor is mostly concrete and there is always a layer of iron dust on everything. It’s hard work and the days can be quite long, especially when we have a big production run. We don’t have a fancy office with air conditioning or soft chairs. Most of the space is taken up by the mill itself and the storage for the raw materials. Trucks are constantly pulling in and out of the yard, and the sound of the metal moving is constant. It can get really hot inside, especially during the summer months. We don’t spend much time on anything other than the work itself. We eat our lunch in a small side room and then get right back to the machines. It’s a grit-and-grind type of life here in the MIDC. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a polished image. We just focus on running the mill and making sure everything is moving as it should.
