Shree Gorakhnath Roadlines

Shree Gorakhnath Roadlines is situated on the 2nd floor at 9 Masjid Bunder West. If you’ve ever been to Masjid Bunder, you know it’s one of the most crowded and hectic places in Mumbai. Our office is right in the thick of it. Downstairs, the streets are filled with handcarts, lorries, and people carrying heavy loads. From up here on the second floor, we can hear the constant shouting and the horns honking all day long. We specialize in road transport, which means a lot of our time is spent talking to truck drivers and coordinating where the goods need to go. It’s a lot of paperwork and phone calls, making sure that everything is loaded correctly and that the routes are clear. The building we are in is quite old and the stairs are narrow, but it’s been our base for a while. We don’t have a fancy lobby or anything like that. People just come up when they have a shipment they need moved. It’s a hard-working environment, and everyone is usually in a hurry to get things done. We eat our lunch at our desks most days because things move so fast and you can't really step away for long. It isn’t always glamorous work, dealing with delays and broken-down trucks or missing paperwork, but it’s what we know how to do. We just keep at it, trying to stay organized in the middle of all the daily chaos of the market.
