Shivam Tools & Steels

You can find Shivam Tools & Steels at Shop Number 5, right in the middle of the Girgaon Vegetable Market. It is a bit of an unusual spot for a steel shop, being inside the Gaurishankar Apartment building and surrounded by vegetable vendors. The area is always crowded with people buying groceries and the smell of fresh produce is everywhere. We have a small shop that is packed from floor to ceiling with steel rods, plates, and various tools. It is quite a sight to see the heavy metal being moved through the busy market crowds. We are also near the Bombay Talkies compound, which is a local landmark. The shop is small and we have to be very organized to fit everything in. We spend a lot of time measuring and cutting pieces of steel for customers who walk in. It's a noisy neighborhood with all the shouting from the market sellers outside. We have a tiny counter where we handle the cash and the bills. The floor is made of thick stone to handle the weight of the metal. Sometimes it feels a bit cramped, but we like being in such a lively part of the city. We know all the other shopkeepers around here. It is just a small, local business doing our part in the middle of the daily market rush.
