We’ve been working out of 246, A-Z Industrial Estate on G.K. Marg for quite a few years now. Shivam Steels & Tubes Pvt. Ltd. isn't some big, flashy office with glass walls. It’s an industrial space where we handle a lot of heavy metal every day. You can hear the sounds of tubes clanging against each other from the street. G.K. Marg is always busy, and sometimes getting trucks in and out of the estate is a real headache, especially during the monsoon when the roads get messy. We spend most of our time on the shop floor checking the stock. It’s a bit dusty and loud, but that’s just how it is in this line of work. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big talk. Most of the guys here have been with us since the beginning. We know our steel, and we know our customers. Sometimes the tea stall down the road is the only thing that keeps us going during a long shift. We just focus on getting the orders ready and making sure they’re loaded onto the tempos correctly. It’s straightforward, physical work. Nothing more, nothing less. If you come by, you’ll probably find us covered in a bit of grease or soot, but we’ll get you what you need from the racks. We’ve grown used to the constant hum of the machines and the general chaos of the industrial estate.
