Our workshop is at Plot No. 9 in the Amarbila Building on Mathuradas Road. We are in Kandivali West, quite close to Merwans Cake Shop, which is a dangerous place to be because the smell of fresh baking is always drifting over here. We deal with industrial tubes, so there is often a lot of clanking and the sound of metal being moved around. It is a hardworking environment. The building itself is older, and our space is filled with machines and stacks of finished tubes waiting to be picked up. We don't have a fancy reception area. If you come by, you’ll probably find us in our work clothes, likely covered in a bit of grease or metal dust. The floor is concrete and we have a small corner with a desk where we handle the orders. It gets quite warm in the afternoons, especially when the machines have been running for a few hours. We usually keep the big shutters open to let the air in. We have been on Mathuradas Road for a long time and have seen many businesses come and go. We just keep doing our thing, making sure the tubes are right and the orders go out on time. It is a simple, honest way to make a living. We aren't trying to be the biggest, just a regular shop in the neighborhood where people can get what they need.
