Shiv Shakti Steel Centre

At Shiv Shakti Steel Centre, things are usually quite loud and heavy. We are located right on Link Road 3, which is a spot where a lot of construction and repair work happens. The shop is full of steel bars, sheets, and pipes that take up a lot of room. You can smell the metal as soon as you walk in. It’s not a clean or quiet place, but that is the nature of working with steel. We spend our days measuring out sections and cutting them for people who are building things or fixing up their homes. The floor is usually covered in a bit of metal dust, and we have to move things around with a lot of effort because steel isn't light. Most of the people who stop by are contractors or locals who need something specific for a project. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that; it’s just us handling the stock and making sure the orders are correct. Link Road 3 gets quite a bit of traffic, so there is always the sound of horns and engines in the background while we work. We've been here for a while and have seen the area change, but the work we do stays pretty much the same. It’s hard work. Our hands are usually dirty by the end of the day. It’s just an honest place where we sell steel and try to help people get what they need.
