Shiv Computer

Shiv Computer is tucked away in a very specific part of the old city. We are at 57 Fort Mata No Khancho, in the Manek Chowk area. More specifically, we’re in Sheth Ni Pole, Mandvi Ni Pole. We are in Podar Chamber, which is right opposite the Apoorva Hotel. If you know this neighborhood, you know how narrow the lanes are and how much history is in every corner. It’s a very busy spot with people everywhere. Our office is small and full of computer parts and old machines. It’s not the kind of place you’d see in a magazine. It’s a real working shop where things actually happen. The smell of the street food from Manek Chowk usually wafts in during the evenings. It’s a lively place to be. We spend our time fixing motherboards or helping someone find a specific cable. The Podar Chamber building has been around for a long time, and you can feel that when you walk in. We don't have a big corporate structure. It’s just a few of us here. We know most of the people who live and work in the pole. It’s a community. We don't bother with fancy slogans or big ads. People just know where we are. We open the shop, do the work, and then head home through the crowded streets. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living, and we are quite happy with that at the end of the day.
