Shiraz Enterprises

Shiraz Enterprises is located on Chakla Street Cross Lane. It’s a very old part of the city where the streets are narrow and the buildings are packed close together. We have been here for a long time, working out of a small office that is usually overflowing with samples and files. We are basically traders who source various goods for our clients. It’s not the kind of place with a big glass front or a receptionist. You just walk in and find us sitting behind our desks. We spend a lot of time on the phone, talking to suppliers and checking on shipments. The noise from the street is constant, with horns honking and people shouting, but we’ve grown used to it over the years. We don't have any polished marketing materials or a big brand name. We just rely on the relationships we’ve built with other traders in the lane. Sometimes we have to go out and inspect the goods ourselves to make sure they are what we ordered. It involves a lot of walking through the crowded markets. We drink a lot of tea and talk about how the prices of things are always changing. It’s a very traditional business environment, where a person’s word still means something. We don't have any complicated systems, just our ledgers and our experience. We just keep doing what we’ve always done, day after day.
