Shell Fire & Safety Engineers

We operate out of 204, B-Sai Sadan, located at 76-78 Modi Street in the Fort area, near Dongri. It’s an old part of the city, and our building has that classic look with high ceilings and heavy doors. Shell Fire & Safety Engineers is where we coordinate all our safety work and inspections. The office is on the second floor, and the elevator can be a bit moody, so many of us just take the stairs. Inside, we have stacks of fire extinguishers waiting to be serviced and boxes of safety gear like helmets and vests. It’s not the most organized looking place, but we know where everything is. The desks are covered with site plans and inspection reports that need to be filled out. Modi Street is very narrow and usually filled with people and carts, so getting equipment in and out can be a real challenge sometimes. We spend a good part of the day out at different buildings around the city, so the office is often quiet except for one person answering the phones. When we are all here, it gets pretty cramped. We have a small kitchenette in the back where we make tea. It’s a practical workspace for people who are mostly focused on technical details and making sure things are up to code. We don’t have much in the way of decor, just some old safety posters on the walls.
