Heera Chemicals

My shop is in Ismail Building, right there at number 10, 153 on S.V.P Road in Bhuleshwar. It is a very busy spot and you can hear the horns honking all day long. I have been running Heera Chemicals from here for a while now. The space isn't huge but we make it work with all the drums and packets we have to store. Most mornings start with me opening the shutters and sweeping the front. Then the deliveries start coming in. Bhuleshwar is a tough place to navigate with a big truck, so we do a lot of heavy lifting by hand. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, but we just keep the fan going and deal with the customers one by one. People come here looking for specific chemical supplies they need for their own small businesses or workshops. I don't have a fancy computer system for everything, I mostly use my ledger and a pen to keep track of what goes out. It is a simple way of doing things, but it works for us. My neighbors are all traders too, so we look out for each other. Sometimes we share a tea when things are a bit slow. There is always a smell of something in the air here, maybe powder or liquid stuff, but I don't notice it much anymore. It is just part of being in this line of work. We stay open late most days until the street finally starts to get quiet.
