Hindustan Manufacturing Trading Co Pvt Ltd is on the 8A Mezzanine Floor of the Anantdeep building. We are in the C Wing over in the Masjid area, specifically near Gokul Road. It’s a very busy part of the city. If you’ve ever been to Masjid, you know how crowded the lanes get with all the trading going on. Our office is a bit tucked away, so you have to climb a few stairs to find us on the mezzanine level. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze with all the samples and files we keep around. We do both manufacturing and trading, so there’s always talk about materials and prices going on. The air is thick with the smell of the market outside. We don’t have air conditioning that works all the time, so the fans are always spinning fast. It’s an old building with high ceilings and heavy wooden doors. Sometimes it feels like time stopped here thirty years ago, except for the modern computers on the desks. We deal with a lot of different people every day—suppliers, workers, and other traders. It’s a lot of handshakes and quick conversations. There’s no big corporate strategy here. We just buy what we need, make what we can, and sell it to the people who want it. It’s simple but it keeps us busy and moving.
