Shakti Met-Dor Limited

Our office for Shakti Met-Dor Limited is on the fourth floor of the Hind Rajasthan Building. It’s located at number 95 on Dadasaheb Phalke Road in Dadar East. If you know the area, you know it’s always crowded and noisy with all the traffic near the station. We have been in unit 421 for a long time. The building is one of those older ones with a lot of different businesses packed in together. Inside our space, you’ll usually find stacks of metal samples and door parts leaning against the walls. It has a bit of an industrial feel and always smells slightly of metal. We spend a lot of our time talking to contractors and looking over site measurements. It’s a lot of practical work, making sure the dimensions are exactly right for the buildings we are supplying. Because Dadar is so central, we can get to most parts of the city fairly easily, which is good for our site visits. The lift in the building is a bit old and slow, so we often just take the stairs to the fourth floor to get a bit of exercise. We don't have a fancy reception area or anything like that. It’s just a place where we get the work done and keep the business moving. We usually grab our tea from the vendor downstairs twice a day.
