Shakti Buffing Works

We are located at 232 in the old Bombay Talkies Compound in Malad West. It’s near the Breach Candy area and the Shree Ram Market is a good landmark if you are trying to find us. Buffing is a dirty job, let’s be honest. We spend our days polishing metal until it shines, and that means there is always dust and black residue everywhere. Our workshop in the compound has been here for years. It’s not a modern facility with air conditioning. It is a practical workspace with wheels and motors spinning all day. We work on all sorts of metal items brought in by local businesses and individuals. You can hear the hum of the machines from the street. The Bombay Talkies Compound has a lot of history, but for us, it’s just where we go to work every morning. We don’t have a website or a sales team. People just bring their stuff to us, and we tell them when it will be ready. Sometimes the work takes longer if the metal is in bad shape. We just do our best to get the shine right. It’s physical work and your hands get stained, but there’s a certain satisfaction in seeing a dull piece of metal become bright. We’ve been doing this for a long time and don’t plan on changing how we operate. It's a simple, honest business in a busy part of Malad.
