Shah & Co., Chartered Accountants

We are a small team of chartered accountants working out of the 400 016 area in Mumbai. Shah & Co. has been around for a bit, mostly helping out with the usual tax filings and audit work that comes with running a business in Maharashtra. The office isn't anything too special, just a place with plenty of files and a few desks. We spend a lot of time on the phone or going through spreadsheets. It’s the kind of work that needs a lot of focus, so it stays pretty quiet in here most of the day. Mumbai is a fast place, but we try to keep a steady pace so nothing gets missed in the paperwork. We’ve grown used to the rhythm of the city and how the seasons affect the commute for everyone. Most of our clients are locals who need someone to look over their numbers once in a while. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. People usually find us through word of mouth or by just knowing we're in the neighborhood. It’s a practical way to run a firm. We just show up, do the accounting, and head home like everyone else. The address is easy enough to find if you know this part of town. We’ve stayed in this pincode because it feels like home and the logistics work out for us and the people we help.
