Pricewaterhousecoopers Pvt. Ltd. is located over in Bandra West, right on Guru Nanak Road, which a lot of people still call Station Road. We are on the 4th floor of Pwc House. Being in Bandra means it is always a bit chaotic outside, especially with the station so close. You have people rushing everywhere and the noise is constant. Inside the building, things are a bit more focused. We are chartered accountants, so there is a lot of staring at screens and going through stacks of documents. The 4th floor gives us a bit of a view of the street below, though mostly it is just roofs and more traffic. It is a functional space. We have rows of desks and people doing their work. It is not exactly quiet, because there is always some discussion going on about a file or a deadline. The building itself is easy enough to find if you are coming from the station. We have been in this spot for a while. It is just a standard office environment where everyone is busy with their own thing. Getting lunch nearby is easy because there are so many shops and stalls around. It is just a typical workday in a busy part of Mumbai, nothing too special about it, just where we do our accounting work every day.
