Shabbu Group

You can find the Shabbu Group at Shop Number 1 on J.P. Road, very close to the Sanjivani Enclave. This part of Versova is always moving, especially being so close to 7 Bungalows and Andheri West. The shop is small and we have a lot of stuff squeezed into every corner. Sometimes it feels like there isn't enough room to turn around when we have two or three people in here at once. We spend a lot of time out on the sidewalk just to get some air. The traffic on J.P. Road is pretty constant, so there is always the sound of horns and rickshaws in the background. We have been in this neighborhood for a while and we know most of the other shopkeepers around us. It is a friendly enough place, even if it is crowded. We don't have any big corporate policies or fancy uniforms. We just wear whatever is comfortable for the weather and get to work. Most days involve a lot of phone calls and checking on things that are being moved from one place to another. We try to keep the front of the shop clean, but with the Mumbai dust, it is a losing battle most of the time. If you come by in the afternoon, you might find us having a quick lunch in the back. We don't really close for a break, someone is always here to answer the door.
