We’ve been set up here at the M.S.E.B. Colony for quite a while now. It’s a bit of a unique spot since we’re actually inside the National Park in Borivali East. You can imagine the monkeys and the tall trees right around the office doors. Most people get a bit confused when they first try to find us at Type 4/24, but it just feels like home to us. We handle all kinds of design projects from this small space. It’s usually pretty quiet around here, which really helps when we're trying to sketch things out or deal with complicated technical drawings on our computers. Living and working right in the greenery changes how you look at work every day. We aren't some big flashy firm with a glass building and a fancy lobby. It’s just a few of us here. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit or the internet acts up because of the trees and the location, but we just make it work. We've seen the neighborhood change over the years. We started small and stayed that way because it suits our style. If you’re ever walking through the park and see the old colony buildings, that’s where we are. We mostly just focus on the task at hand and try to get things done right without too much fuss. It’s not always glamorous, but it’s our daily life. We keep a stack of papers and some old coffee mugs on the desks. It feels like a real workspace.
