Seven Light

Seven Light is tucked away in Lohar Chawl, specifically on the 4th Cross in the 4th Block. If you know this area, you know how crowded the 16th Main can get, especially during the middle of the day. We are right next to P Chandra Niwas, which is a pretty well-known building around here. The shop is filled with all kinds of stuff, and sometimes it feels like there isn't enough room to move around. We’ve got boxes stacked up in the corners and the shelves are pretty much at capacity. It’s a bit of a maze, honestly. People come in looking for specific things, and we usually know exactly which pile it’s hidden under. It gets pretty hot in the summer months since the breeze doesn't really reach down into these narrow lanes. We have a small fan that works okay but mostly just moves the warm air around. The neighbors are mostly other shop owners, and we all know each other by name. We usually grab tea from the same vendor every morning at ten. It’s a busy life here in the Chawl. There’s always someone unloading a truck or shouting about a delivery. We don’t have any fancy displays or bright signs, just our name and the work we do. It’s a bit messy and loud, but it’s our home away from home and we like the energy of the market. We've been here for years, and we don't plan on moving.
