Sarvoday Steels

Sarvoday Steels is located at 325 Masjid Bunder Road. We are right near the Union Bank of India, specifically the Baroda branch. The biggest thing about our location is that we are very close to the Masjid Bunder Railway Station. If you’ve been there, you know the chaos. The noise of the trains and the crowds is constant. Our shop is right in the thick of it. We deal with steel, so the place is full of heavy rods and sheets. It’s a loud environment, between the street noise and the metal being moved around. The space is long and narrow, typical for buildings on Masjid Bunder Road. We don't have any air conditioning, just a couple of big ceiling fans that struggle against the heat. Most days, we are covered in a bit of dust and sweat. It’s hard work, but someone has to do it. We have a small cabin at the back where we keep the invoices and take a break for tea. The station being so close makes it easy for us to get around, but it also means the area is always congested. We are used to the shouting of the coolies and the sound of the horns outside. It’s just a regular steel shop doing its thing in a busy market. We don't try to be anything we aren't, we just focus on the inventory and getting things loaded correctly for the customers.
