You can find us at number 52 in Tagore Nagar, which is over in Dadar West. We are in the Anil Apartment building. It’s quite close to the Telephone Exchange, so that’s what we usually tell people when they are trying to navigate the area. Dadar is always packed with people and traffic, but our street is a little bit more tucked away. Sarita Satish Manjunath is basically the name on the door here. It’s a lived-in kind of space, not some cold office with white walls and no personality. We have our books and our papers spread out on the table most days. It’s a very local way of doing things. We know the neighbors and the people who walk their dogs past the building every morning. The apartment isn't huge, but it serves the purpose for what we do. We don't have a big staff or anything like that. It is mostly just keeping up with the daily work and making sure everything is in order. Living and working in the same general area like Dadar West makes life a bit easier, honestly. You get to know the rhythms of the street. Sometimes it gets a bit loud when the exchange is busy or when there is a festival nearby. We just keep our heads down and get through the list of things to do. It’s a practical setup, nothing more and nothing less.
