We started Saraswati Steel Supplier a while back here in Malad West. Being on the 80 Feet Main Road makes it much easier for trucks and people to find us, though we are actually tucked away in Flat 702 of the Moreshwa building in A Wing. Most folks know the Hosakerehalli Cross area well, especially with Cotton Planet right nearby. It’s a busy spot. We handle different kinds of steel stuff for local builders and people fixing up their houses. It isn't a fancy setup by any means. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking through lists to make sure the right beams and rods go out to the sites. Sometimes the traffic on the main road gets a bit much, but that is just how it is around here. We’ve lived and worked in this part of Mumbai for years, so we know the shortcuts and the people. If you are looking for us, just head toward the A wing. We don't have a big neon sign or anything special. It's mostly just us working through the daily orders. Steel is heavy and messy work, but it keeps us busy. We try to keep things simple. If we have it in stock, we tell you. If not, we see when it can come in. It is pretty straightforward. People come by after seeing the Cotton Planet landmark. We are just local guys doing what we know. Hope to stay here for a good long while. It is a solid area for this business.
